Job summary

Devereux Georgia is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, sanitary areas across campus, including resident rooms and offices. You will receive formal leadership and crisis-prevention training, plus comprehensive benefits and a two-week orientation.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year in an institutional setting preferred, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Will consider relevant work experience in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, offices and clinical areas daily.
• Clean, sanitize, sweep, mop, and dust as assigned.
• Perform routine laundry for residents.
• Report repairs or safety issues to maintenance promptly.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and chemicals.
• Participate in Environment of Care inspections for compliance.
