Equipment Armor designs, fabricates, and installs protective shielding systems for heavy equipment and fleet vehicles. We seek an entry-level Fabricator/ Installer to join our team and learn through hands-on training, with travel to customer sites and onsite installations.

The role blends shop work with field service, emphasizing safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork as you grow skills in fabrication, assembly, and customer support.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel, including overnight stays and out-of-town work assignments.
• No prior fabrication experience required; training provided.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance are essential.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on fabrication role.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble custom polycarbonate shielding systems.
• Package shields for shipping and raw material receiving.
• Organize materials as they are received.
• Measure, cut, drill, and fit polycarbonate to project specs.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with installing shielding systems on heavy equipment.
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, and installation instructions.
• Perform quality checks to meet Equipment Armor standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Travel to customer sites for installations and service projects.
• Collaborate with experienced fabricators and installers to learn best practices.
