Job summary

MXR Imaging Inc. is seeking a RF Shielding Fabricator to cut, bend and shape metal components using shop equipment. You will fabricate shielding parts and assemble panels such as RF galvanized or copper panels, screens and honeycomb as part of a manufacturing team.

The role requires basic woodworking, trim installation, door hardware installation, and safe operation of saws, lathes and grinders. This is a physical, on-site position with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years shielding fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate RF shielding components to spec.
• Assemble RF panels, screens, honeycomb and related parts.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and shop machinery safely.
• Travel may be required occasionally.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Fabrication and Construction of RF Shielding Components

Requirements

• Proficiency in Basic Wood Working and Trim Installation
• Door Lock and Hinge Assembly Installation
• Cleaning and Preparing of Materials for Fabrication Purposes
• Basic Assembly of RF Components, i.e. RF Galvanized Panels, Copper Panels, RF Screens, Honeycomb, etc.

Education Required

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

• 3-5 years Shielding Fabrication

Travel

• Travel will be limited, but may be requested

Competencies

• Efficiently execute tasks within specified timelines.
• Effectively prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks daily, displaying organizational skills and productivity.
• Possess knowledge base and practical expertise to utilize hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience and knowledge of safety protocols for forklift operation.
