Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Knowledge of fabrication materials, techniques and tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product assignment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, or schematics to safely construct specified structures.
• Select material, technique, and tool(s) for each job based on specs.
• Cuts, bends, and shapes metal to required dimensions.
• Measures and cuts pieces; sometimes welds according to specs.
• Connects pieces by riveting, rolling, soldering, or steel screws.
• Operates machinery and coordinates with others to ensure smooth production flow.
• Adheres to OSHA/ISO safety standards; uses PPE properly.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment; performs other duties as assigned.
