Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret shop orders.
• Forklift experience preferred and ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Help monitor process operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections.
• Report equipment issues to lead or supervisor as needed.
• Learn to Troubleshoot minor equipment issues on a Punch Press or Extrusion.
• Machine and support resolution.
• Perform grinding tasks as required by production specifications.
• Learn work instructions including machine setup, materials, downstream needs, and packaging.
• Learn to read work orders to determine Part # and materials.
• Learn to set machine and process parameters for optimal performance of a Punch Press or Extrusion Machine.
• Learn complete tooling setup, cleaning, and storage of a Punch Press or Extrusion Machine.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Housekeeping as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
