Job summary

HellermannTyton Corporation is seeking an entry-level Extrusion/Punch Technician I to support the safe, efficient operation of an Extrusion Machine or Punch Press to produce high-quality products. This entry-level role involves monitoring processes, conducting inspections, and performing routine maintenance tasks with supervision.

You will learn from the production lead and the Extrusion Supervisor to maintain product quality, resolve equipment issues, and ensure smooth production flow for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret shop orders and CAD drawings.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections.
• Report equipment issues to lead or supervisor as needed.
• Learn to troubleshoot minor equipment issues on a Punch Press or Extrusion.
• Machine setup and read work orders for Part numbers and materials.
• Maintain production logs and QC checklist.
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
