Job summary

Independence Mazda in Charlotte, NC is seeking motivated individuals to join our service team as Entry-Level Express Technicians. You will perform routine maintenance and learn automotive repair in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Our Mentorship Program guides you from entry level to Mazda Master Technician with factory-certified training and hands-on mentorship. We offer competitive hourly pay, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and modern service bays.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn and grow in the automotive industry.
• Mechanical aptitude or basic automotive knowledge (trade school experience is a plus).
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic set of tools (or willingness to acquire them).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes.
• Conduct multi-point safety inspections to identify potential vehicle issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Learn and apply Mazda repair procedures and guidelines.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure quality repairs.
