Job summary

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions seeks an Entry-Level Export Agent in Coppell, TX to join the operations team. Training is provided for export coordination of international air freight and related operational support. This is a full-time, onsite contract-to-hire role.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, maintaining records, communicating statuses to customers and providers, and invoicing. Must have attention to detail and comfort with a fast-paced environment; visa sponsorship and

Qualifications

High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
Proficiency with MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
Experience in export coordination or freight operations is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Track and trace international shipments, monitoring daily freight movement.
Collect, sort and distribute operational information and process documentation for shipment release.
Respond to customers and transportation service providers with shipment statuses and financials.
Update internal databases with freight information and current status.
Collaborate with other departments to support freight operations as needed.
Address issues and claims related to shipment errors or in-transit problems.
Create invoices and send originals to billing parties.
Additional duties as assigned.
