Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Expeditor in our Houston, TX office to support supplier packages from award through delivery. Under coaching, you will track documents, updates, and milestones to keep procurement on schedule.

You will learn to read engineering documents, manage records, and coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and site teams. No prior expediting experience required; strong organizational skills and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated organization and accuracy through education, training, or work experience.
• Ability to track dates, quantities, and documentation with attention to discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to use AI assistants to streamline tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and delivery requirements, identify key contacts, milestones, and material need dates.
• Contact suppliers for updates, prepare for supplier calls, and record commitments with due dates.
• Maintain accurate dates, quantities, status comments, and supporting records in the expediting system.
• Track items in schedules and follow up on late submissions, re-submittals, and discrepancies.
• Promote on-time delivery by raising missed dates and coordinating with team members.
