Job summary

Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital in Lebanon, OR is seeking a Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab professional to provide comprehensive care for patients with heart and lung conditions. You will design exercise prescriptions, monitor physiologic responses during sessions, and deliver health education in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications include a BS in Exercise Physiology, BLS on hire, ACLS within 90 days, and ACSM-CEP preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Exercise Physiology required.
• Healthcare Provider level BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
• ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a team member to provide comprehensive rehabilitative care to participants who suffer from cardiovascular & pulmonary disease.
• Responsible for the individual exercise prescriptions and safe effective therapy during exercise classes.
• Assesses physiologic responses to exercise and intervenes in emergencies.
• Provides health teaching and promotion.
