Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment. The role offers hands-on training and opportunities to grow into service or operations leadership.

The Technician will work in a safety-focused team, handling diesel and heavy equipment, with potential exposure to large-scale power units, generators, pumps, and HVAC gear. A HS diploma and related experience are preferred, with bilingual skills valued for certain locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade training preferred.
• 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and generators as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate service records.
