Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience operating light to medium power equipment.
• Valid Maryland Class A or B CDL with endorsements for assigned equipment; CDL must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of light to heavy power equipment for streets, utilities, and grounds.
• Transport, load, and unload heavy equipment, materials, and debris safely.
• Inspect and service equipment; report major defects promptly.
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Participate in required safety training programs.
• Support seasonal operations and emergency road clearing, including after-hours response.
