Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Equipment Engineer to support Construction & Mining operations. You will plan, schedule, budget and manage a fleet of construction equipment to improve reliability and maintenance programs. This role involves field and office work, with relocation as needed.

The position emphasizes hands-on logistics, inspections, and coordination with maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
• 1+ year of equipment-related experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Handle material procurement and logistics for equipment.
• Create and maintain tool and part documentation.
• Inspect equipment and parts for reliability.
• Plan long/short range equipment scheduling and budgeting.
• Support maintenance technicians and order parts as needed.
