You will conduct field work, prepare technical reports, review permits, and communicate with clients while developing data management and QA/QC proficiency. Travel 20-30% is required; the role emphasizes attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related science field from an accredited college or university.
• 1-2 years of field sampling experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Sampling Analysis Plans or QA plans is a plus.
• Familiarity with environmental investigations and remediation is a plus.
• Familiarity with third-party oversight of field/lab data systems is a plus.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks while collaborating with peers.
• This position may require field work in various conditions and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Some travel is required (20-30%).

Responsibilities

• Conducting field inspections, oversights, sampling, and related activities per regulatory standards as directed.
• Assisting in developing project control documents, writing technical reports, performing data interpretation, reviewing permits, and developing graphical presentations.
• Reviewing Chain-of-Custody records, field data, and laboratory receipt information for accuracy and completeness.
• Developing and strengthening technical capabilities.
• Becoming proficient in field sampling, inspections, data collection, QA/QC of data results, data reporting, synthesis and analysis.
• Communicating effectively with internal teams and external clients.
