Entry Level Environmental Engineer - Marlborough, MA

Tetra Tech’s Marlborough, MA office is currently seeking an Entry Level Environmental engineer to participate in filed data collection, remediation system operation and maintenance, remediation system design and installation and construction management. Must have BS degree and desire to perform field work.

Your Role:

  • Collect field data.
  • Perform analysis of environmental information to support assessment and design activities.
  • Maintain professional demeanor in the presence of public, regulatory and client contacts.
  • Projects energetic and inquisitive personality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 0 – 3 years of relevant environmental engineering experience.
  • Basic engineering knowledge, organization skills.
  • Some familiarity with geology and hydrology.
  • Knowledge of soil classification methods such as USSC.
  • Familiarity with drilling methods and field screening instruments.
  • HAZWOPER training.
  • Ability to travel and perform field work (approx. 25%-50% of field work required).
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
