Langan is seeking an Entry‑Level Environmental Engineer, Scientist or Geologist to join its collaborative team in San Francisco or San Jose, CA. This role focuses on site exploration activities including contaminated site investigation, soil and groundwater sampling, vapor intrusion assessment, and remedial design and monitoring.

You will work with industry leaders on a diverse portfolio in a learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• 0-2 years of work-related experience; internship or professional work experience preferred.
• Applicants with an engineering degree are preferred to have EIT Certification, or current registration for FE exam.
• Strong technical education, professional demeanor, and desire to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Travel may be required based on business needs.

Responsabilités

• Perform field inspections and environmental investigations.
• Collect air, soil, gas, and groundwater samples; assist remediation activities.
• Log borings, collect samples, and perform field tests; document data.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and plans; data management and evaluation.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and collaborate with project team.
• Support environmental assessment and remediation efforts as needed.
