Job summary

Yu & Associates seeks an Environmental Engineer for our Northern New Jersey office. You will perform soil and groundwater sampling, field inspections, and design solid waste facilities, while also providing modeling services, subcontractor oversight, and project coordination.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in environmental engineering, with OSHA HAZWOPER and E.I.T. preferred. Strong communication, analytical skills, and willingness to travel to client sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering is required.
• HAZWOPER and EIT are preferred qualifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil and groundwater sampling.
• Conduct field inspections and design solid waste facilities.
• Provide modeling services, oversight of subcontractors, and project coordination.
• Interact with clients and regulatory agencies.
