Job summary

YU & Associates is an established engineering firm in Bergen County, New Jersey. We seek an experienced Environmental Engineer to manage projects from proposal development through scheduling and client communications, including investigations, data analysis, and routine calculations to evaluate feasible solutions.

The candidate will handle environmental remediation support, prepare reports, maintain plans and permits, and collaborate with scientists and planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of environmental rules, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create solutions to environmental problems.
• Build upon existing solutions to make them better.
• Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation reports.
• Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical support for environmental remediation projects.
• Analyze scientific data and perform quality control checks.
• Monitor the progress of environmental improvement programs.
• Address problems and develop environmental solutions to prevent damage.
• Collaborate with scientists, planners and experts.
• Monitor progress and provide recommendations reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
