Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. is seeking entry-level Nuclear Civil/Structural or Electrical Design Mod Engineers for 100% remote roles. Positions are contract or permanent, created to support growth at a leading nuclear A/E firm servicing multiple utilities.

Entry-level candidates are welcome as the work involves modifying design packages for U.S. nuclear plant mods with diverse client assignments. Ideal candidates hold a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering required; 0–4 years experience in civil/structural design changes for nuclear plant mods.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Experience developing calculations, specs and analyses for design changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil/structural design modification packages for nuclear plant mods/upgrades.
• Prepare calculations, specifications and analyses to support design changes.
• Work independently and meet project deadlines.

Immediate openings for Entry Level Nuclear Civil/Structural or Electrical Design Mod Engineers

100% remote, contract or perm. These are new positions being added due to expansive growth. Work for a leading nuclear A/E firm that is Engineer of Choice with multiple utilities. These roles entail developing the civil/structural design mod packages for commercial nuclear plant mods/upgrades - entry level candidates accepted.

Diverse nuclear client base - so if work runs out with one client, you just move to another project. Opportunity to be hired contract to direct (or direct on occasion), if that’s of interest to the candidate.

Requirements

• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship B.S. degree in engineering 0-4 years current experience developing civil/structural design change packages for U.S. nuclear plant mods - including calcs, specs, analysis, etc.
• Ability to work independently and against deadlines.
