Job summary

TechServ is seeking an entry-level Engineering Technician/Designer for its Electrical Distribution team in Beaumont, TX. You will undergo 2–3 weeks of hands-on training, gain industry certifications, and learn the client’s CAD software.

After training, you’ll design for new builds, alterations, and redevelopments, with travel around 20% to job sites. Ideal candidates have strong teamwork, good communication, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience with CAD tools and design software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD software to produce designs for new builds, alterations, and redevelopments.
• Analyze drawings and reports to plan and design projects.
• Support project teams with design changes and documentation.
• Travel to regional sites ~20% of the time.
