Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems in Lima, Ohio is seeking an Entry Engineer to serve as a product engineering representative for the manufacturing of military vehicle programs such as Abrams Main Battle Tank and Stryker hull fabrication. The role acts as a technical liaison with GDLS divisions and the customer, maintains flat files, and supports vehicle induction inspections.

The candidate should hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field, be a U.S.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Security clearance.
• Background check and pre-employment medical process including a drug screen.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Support for combat vehicle fabrication or assembly reporting to the Engineering Manager at Lima.
• Technical liaison for Abrams or Stryker with interface to and coordination with various levels of GDLS and the customer organization.
• Flat file development and maintenance.
• Support Abrams vehicle induction inspection at customer storage locations (ANAD, Sierra).
