HNTB Corporation in the Central States office is seeking New Grad Engineer I to join our team across Bridge, Mechanical Movable Bridges, ITS/DIS, Water Resources and Municipal Transportation disciplines. You will contribute to design calculations, reports, and plans under the guidance of experienced engineers.

This entry‑level role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and delivering drawings and calculations using current software tools like MicroStation and AutoCAD, along with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Understanding of engineering principles relevant to the discipline.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with data collection, field investigations, and project design tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
