Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Case Manager I - Employment Services to coordinate employment support for participant households in the Denver area. The role includes needs-based assessments, linking participants to education and job opportunities, and community outreach.

The position emphasizes client-centered case management, collaboration with employers and schools, and adherence to program standards to help participants achieve housing stability and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or a closely related field.
• Must possess Colorado driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance.
• Must complete agency and program credentialing within 12 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Advise and connect participants with employment opportunities and education resources.
• Coordinate services and maintain eligibility and demographic documentation.
• Engage in community outreach to identify eligible households with barriers to housing stability.
• Build relationships with employers, schools, and community partners for placements.
• Provide coaching and interview prep to participants to overcome employment barriers.
