Job summary

Global Public Safety, LLC is seeking an entry-level Emergency Vehicle Installer to join our manufacturing facility. You will install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt equipment across sedans, SUVs, motorcycles and ATVs, configuring brand-new units and upgrading existing fleets.

This role offers on-the-job training, safety-focused work, a fast-paced shop environment, and overtime for time-sensitive projects.

Qualifications

• Entry-level applicants encouraged; training provided.
• Ability to work safely with tools.
• Basic understanding of auto wiring preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment (lights, sirens, radios, cameras, etc.).
• Configure new units and upgrade existing fleets across vehicles (sedans, SUVs, motorcycles, ATVs).
• Disassemble/reassemble OEM interior trim for installations.
• Plan wiring routes for efficiency and future troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automotive equipment.
• Keep workspace and tools safe, clean, and organized.
• Learn new installation techniques from teammates and manufacturers.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation promptly.
