Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions in Ashaway, RI is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronics and mechanical components. This entry-level role offers a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and potential overtime, great for building hands-on skills.

Under supervision, you will read drawings, perform tests with oscilloscope and multimeter, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
0 to 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and detailed instructions.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical, optical, and mechanical components and subassemblies.
Perform continuity and functional tests with ohmmeters and oscilloscopes.
Assist in evaluating and implementing process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
Set up and operate test apparatus to verify performance of production or prototype models.
Follow test procedures, safety practices, and quality standards as outlined in company documentation.
Escalate quality or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and manufacturing standards.
Mentor peers after achieving advanced certification levels.
Participate in training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Foster positive relationships with team members and engineers to support company goals.
