Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology in Duluth, MN is seeking an Operator 1 to build electronic components. This role includes winding, soldering, crimping, masking, encapsulating, coating, and mechanical/electrical assembly of products and testing parts, subassemblies and finished goods.

You will document test results, work with engineers to improve quality, and follow EH&S rules. Training is provided; work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good eyesight and manual dexterity.
• Ability to use a microscope.
• Willingness to learn equipment setup and operation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and PCBs, including winding, soldering, crimping, masking, encapsulating.
• Document test results and procedures; record materials and results.
• Work with engineers to improve efficiency and quality.
• Adhere to EH&S rules and report issues.
