Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an entry-level technician to perform component-level repairs in a factory setting. You will operate under supervision while building foundational skills through on-the-job training and projects, documenting outcomes and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

The role emphasizes communication with customers, documentation of tests, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or six months to one year of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate with customers.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, proportions, and volumes; apply basic algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Repairs entry-level equipment at component level.
• Improves technical skills through on-the-job training and projects.
• Communicates with customers on an occasional basis as necessary.
• Completes and documents test development of less complex electronic assemblies.
• Maintains fixtures.
• Processes service report paperwork under direct supervision as part of training and development.
• Participates in Quality Initiative; improves processes; monitors quality metrics.
