Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an Electrician Helper to assist electricians in assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures at job sites across the United States. You will use hand tools and power tools to diagnose and correct issues and support various tasks as directed by the licensed electrician.

Requirements include 3 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and a valid TDLR card.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in electrical or related work.
• Experience with assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of wiring and electrical systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Gathers tools and supplies for the job site under supervision.
• Measures, cuts and bends wire and conduit using hand tools.
• Drills holes for wiring and threads or pulls wires as needed.
• Trace short circuits using test equipment to locate faults.
• Assist in lifting, positioning or fastening wiring and equipment.
• Perform minor repairs such as replacing fuses, sockets, bulbs, switches.
• Maintain current electrician's license or ID as required by state regulations.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
