Job summary
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) invites applications for an entry-level Electrical Systems Engineer at Arnold AFB, TN, supporting AEDC Test Operations. You will join an integrated team responsible for maintaining and sustaining Air Force test operations, with duties ranging from installation to troubleshooting of major electrical equipment.
The role emphasizes system safety, maintenance planning, and collaboration with DoD clients, design teams, and contractors, in a security-cleared, on-site
Qualifications
- BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC.
- Posting is for those with less than 5 years of post-degree engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond to system malfunctions and direct corrective maintenance.
- Update and maintain system documentation.
- Coordinate with design engineering, fabrication shops, DoD client, and other contractors.
- Develop advanced maintenance plans with Asset Health Assurance personnel.
- Conduct and write up system safety hazard analyses and clear work instructions.
- Assess and communicate risk to stakeholders.
- Develop estimates for improvement projects.
- Plan and execute maintenance, upgrades, and test projects with planners and schedulers.
- Assist craft personnel with troubleshooting and provide technical leadership.
- Follow PPE requirements and related safety policies.
