Job summary

Bascom Hunter is seeking an Associate Electrical Systems Engineer to support the definition, integration, and verification of aerospace electrical systems for defense applications. Projects include ECS, motor drives, ECUs, power distribution, and interconnects.

This position welcomes new graduates and engineers with about 0-2 years of experience, under senior guidance to develop requirements, interface documentation, analyses, and hands-on integration and testing, with growing independence over

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering completed by start date.
Foundational knowledge of circuit analysis, voltage, current, power, and signals.
Practical experience with lab instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
Ability to organize data, document calculations, and communicate findings.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Define, integrate, and verify aerospace electrical systems under supervision.
Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, software, mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams.
Prepare calculations, diagrams, and test results for design reviews; implement feedback.
