Job summary

Bascom Hunter in Greenfield, IN is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support development, integration, and testing of aerospace and defense systems. The role offers hands-on experience across defense electronics, embedded and digital systems, test equipment, and thermal management.

You will work alongside engineers from multiple disciplines through the design, development, integration, and testing lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Foundational knowledge in electrical engineering principles and circuit analysis.
• Experience with embedded systems or electronics coursework is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, integration, and testing of electrical systems.
• Build and troubleshoot test fixtures and engineering test equipment.
• Support testing of hardware, embedded systems, and assemblies.
• Develop test plans and document procedures.
• Conduct circuit analysis and simulations to evaluate performance.
• Assist with embedded systems, microcontrollers, DSPs, and related electronics.
• Develop LabVIEW programs and data acquisition software.
• Create engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Participate in design and technical reviews and meetings.
• Research emerging technologies for aerospace and defense systems.
• Collaborate across disciplines to meet project requirements.
