Job summary

ESL Power Systems in Corona, California seeks a Quality Control Inspector I to perform receiving, in-process, final, and RMA inspections, verifying components and assemblies meet drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

You will conduct electrical testing from 120V to 480V using Hi-Pot, Megger, multimeters, load banks, and current clamps, maintain accurate records in Epicor/MES, create DMRs, and communicate discrepancies while upholding safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Fundamental QC principles and inspection techniques.
• Proficient with measuring tools and test equipment.
• Data entry and document control experience.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, final, and RMA inspections.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Verify dimensions, materials, finishes, labels, quantities, assembly workmanship, and wiring against requirements.
• Conduct electrical testing (120V-480V).
• Process inspection transactions in ERP/MES.
• Create DMRs and evaluate RMAs.
• Document inspection results and capture photos for traceability.
• Support padmount inspections and point-to-point verification.
• Report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety and testing procedures.
