Job summary

ESPEC North America, Inc. in Hudsonville, MI is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to design electrical systems for environmental test chambers. You will develop schematics and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical, and ensure reliable, cost‑effective solutions.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering and up to two years of relevant experience are required; strong math, MS Office skills, and teamwork are valued. You’ll contribute to new chamber designs and join a collaborative, quality‑driven engineering

Qualifications

0-2 years of relevant experience, including internships.
Must be able to perform basic electrical engineering calculations (voltage, current, heater, and transformer).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Email.
Previous experience with AutoCAD Electrical is required.

Responsibilities

Modifies existing schematic and panel layout designs.
Possesses knowledge of Bill of Materials structures and basic ERP functionality to fulfill duties.
Designs and releases electrical assemblies and drawings using AutoCAD Electrical per standards.
Assists with basic chamber modifications and options.
Uses the ENA problem-solving process to correct errors in outputs.
Follows engineering procedures and ISO standards.
