Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 0–2 years of professional engineering experience (internships/co-ops encouraged).
• Strong interest in utilities, energy, or power delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support power system planning and analysis for electric distribution systems.
• Assist with studies related to capacity, reliability, load growth, and customer requests.
• Learn and use utility engineering software to analyze networks and performance.
• Support outage analysis, reliability improvements, and grid reinforcement projects.
• Develop technical reports, findings, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and field teams to ensure safe, reliable service.
• Participate in projects involving electrification, DG, and grid modernization initiatives.
• Gain exposure to system protection, relay coordination, and distribution operations.
• Support storm restoration and high-priority operational initiatives.
