Job summary

Jobtailor in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer to provide technical planning, design, permitting and construction support on water utility and civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities include preparing calculations, design reports, construction plans using AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and Revit, reviewing plans, assisting with permits, estimates and client communications.

This entry-level role requires a Bachelor's degree and 0–3 years of experience; EIT preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 0 to 3 years of related experience required.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and/or Revit is preferred.
  • Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • EIT preferred

  • Conduct on-site inspections as needed.
  • Prepare project status and other reports.
  • Assist in preparing proposals.
  • Assist Project Managers.
  • Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain excellent client relations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
