The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking an early-career Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electronic circuits for diverse programs. The role includes circuit layout, modeling, and guiding assembly/testing of hardware.

Responsibilities span benchtop optics experiments, RF subsystems, and integration of sensors into platforms, with opportunities across projects in the PMD division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Microelectronics.
• Programming skills in MATLAB or Python.
• Experience performing basic electrical, RF, and optical tests with standard lab equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Develop and test electronic circuits and assemblies under supervision.
• Test and troubleshoot circuits for operational readiness.
• Generate documentation of hardware design and theory of operation.
• Conduct benchtop experiments in optics labs using free-space and fiber optics.
