Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) seeks a mid-career Photonics Engineer focused on RFIC or photonic IC technology. You will design, model, and package RF/photonic components and collaborate across divisions to deliver advanced research for aerospace and national security programs.

Applicants should have strong circuit/photonic fundamentals, experience with simulation tools, and the ability to obtain an active DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, applied physics, microelectronics, physics, or similar.
• B.S. with 5–8 years of experience; M.S. with 3–6 years; Ph.D. with 0–3 years.

Responsabilités

• Lead RF/Analog IC design tasks and contribute to publications.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist in proposals.
• Test, characterize, and integrate RF/photonic ICs into systems.
• Model RF and optical systems and assist in sponsor engagements.
