Job summary

iNRCORE Group in Torrington, CT, is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to support new product development, testing, and technical documentation for magnetic and electronic components. This entry-level role reports to the Engineering Department Manager.

Responsibilities include design assistance, prototyping, data analysis, and documentation updates, with collaboration across senior engineers to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Foundational understanding of analog circuits and magnetic components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Basic proficiency with engineering and CAD tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and testing of new electrical and magnetic components.
• Support troubleshooting for existing products and manufacturing processes.
• Build prototypes and perform electrical and mechanical measurements.
• Collect and analyze engineering data to support validation.
• Prepare and update drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.
• Learn and follow applicable industry, customer, and military specifications.
• Use basic electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
