Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer I (Crewed Land) in Slidell, LA to join the Land Domain Ground Robotics team. You will contribute to research, design, and testing of electrical systems for robotic platforms, with mentorship and hands-on experience to grow your skills.

The role supports development across analog/digital circuits, PCB design, and mission payload upgrades, with travel as needed to demonstrate products and ensure readiness.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or has completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling daily responsibilities including research and trade studies, developing electrical design concepts, performance calculations and simulation, and hands-on support of testing and troubleshooting.
• Opportunities range from analog and digital circuits, fabrication and assembly, computer architectures, PCB design, debugging of electrical assemblies.
• Designing, documenting, and upgrading robotic systems to include critical vehicle electronics and mission payloads.
• Some travel required to support customer demonstrations and product readiness.
