TRS Staffing Solutions is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer to support industrial, refinery, and energy-related projects in Billings, Montana. This entry-to-mid level role offers hands-on electrical design work and collaboration with senior engineers on diverse projects.

The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of experience, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, and familiarity with NEC/NFPA/IEEE standards. Office-based in Billings with some site travel may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 1–5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in refinery, oil & gas or industrial manufacturing preferred.
• TWIC card and site safety training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical deliverables including one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and electrical construction packages.
• Assist with load calculations, voltage drop calculations, cable sizing, conduit sizing, lighting and grounding design.
• Support the development of electrical equipment specifications and technical documentation.
• Assemble engineering and construction work packages for project execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
