Job summary

Corbin Consulting Engineers is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer for our Tempe office. You will work with a multi-discipline team on power and low-voltage design across projects for technology, industrial, and life sciences clients.

The role offers exposure to design reviews, field coordination, and technical documentation. You will contribute to engineering studies, create designs for power, lighting, and distribution, and support senior engineers with analysis and reports.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• 1+ years of experience as an independent designer/engineer.
• EIT Certification or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Engineering studies of power and low-voltage systems to survey conditions and recommend upgrades.
• Design electrical systems including power, lighting, distribution, heat trace, and equipment installation.
• Perform short circuit, arc flash analyses; review power quality and reliability.
• Design low voltage systems including instrumentation, controls, telecom, life safety, and security systems.
• Coordinate with electrical and other discipline teams and interface with customers for design reviews.
