Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design building electrical systems for food and beverage production facilities. You will handle power distribution design, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems, and prepare bid documents.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 0–3 years experience, and up to 25% travel to site locations. AutoCAD/Revit skills and internship exposure are valuable assets.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 0–3 years of experience in electrical systems for building power.
• Experience in designing lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems is preferred.
• AutoCAD or Revit experience with design documentation.
• FE or PE tracking is desirable, travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for building power distribution including 208V, 480V, and medium voltage.
• Prepare calculations for short circuit, coordination, and load analysis.
• Produce bid documents and CAD drawings; manage timelines.
• Assist in vendor selection and procurement of equipment.
• Travel to project sites up to 25% for fieldwork and reviews.
