McClure Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on complex buildings, data centers, and campus systems. You will coordinate with disciplines, review drawings, and contribute to engineering solutions grounded in math and science.

Under supervision, you’ll perform field investigations, design lighting and power systems, and help produce construction documents. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and continuous learning in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• B.S.E.E. from an ABET-accredited university or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant electrical engineering design, focusing on building systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with specialized software like SKM/Aspen/EasyPower is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design of lighting, power distribution, and communications systems.
• Collaborate with designers to produce construction documents (drawings and specs).
• Research equipment and select appropriate options for projects/clients.
• Conduct field inspections to verify site conditions.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, and other disciplines to obtain/provide necessary information.
• Respond to RFIs from contractors.
