Description

As an Electrical Engineer, this position offers you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in Electrical Engineering.

• You will work on project teams with other electrical engineers involved in designing new high voltage and extra-high voltage substations and transmission systems.
• You will be involved in power transmission designs and preparing specifications for procurement of major electrical power equipment and related installation services.
• There is potential for travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days a week in the office and two days remote, providing flexibility.

Depending on your location, a generous relocation package may be available.

Qualifications

Essential skills and experience include:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong academic record and coursework in electrical power concepts/AC power systems analysis.
• Understanding of practical electrical engineering applications, including systems, principles, techniques, and procedures in project design.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for producing technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Valued but not required:

• BSEE or MSEE from an ABET-accredited program.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and Engineer in Training designation.
• Related internship or co-op experience.
