Job summary

Hennig in Illinois is seeking an entry-level Electrical Assembler to learn foundational electrical assembly skills in a manufacturing setting. You will install basic components, conduit systems, boxes, and fixtures while learning drawings, safety standards, and assembly processes under guidance.

You will read BOMs, locate parts, review models and instructions, and assemble junction boxes and lighting fixtures.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Locate parts using established numbering systems and document usage.
Review unit 3D models, assembly drawings, and work instructions in computer systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
Install pre-bent conduit and secure with clamps and straps per standards.
Follow schematics to ensure proper placement of conduit supports and components.
Assemble and install electrical boxes, junction boxes, and lighting fixtures to quality standards.
Operate power/hand tools and measuring devices safely.
Use measuring and leveling tools for conduit/component installation.
Demonstrate safe operation of scissor lifts, boom lifts, and ladders.
Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
