Job summary

Veolia Group's Water Technology Engineering team seeks an EI&C engineer to design instrumentation, electrical, controls and programming for water treatment facilities. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, review engineering documents, and support production facilities during commissioning.

Travel up to 25% for FATs and site visits; you will develop automation deliverables, ensure quality, schedule and budget adherence, and help mitigate project risks.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including coordinating, reporting, documentation, and presentations.
• Strong focus on customer relationships (external/internal). Understands balance between customer and Veolia teams.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents, including P&IDs, GAs, process design guidelines, return of experience, and engineering best practices guides.
• Perform required calculations and select the appropriate instrumentation for water treatment facilities as well as all supporting documentation (instrument lists, termination drawings, instrument datasheets, etc.).
• Design the complete detailed electrical design for water treatment facilities (single line diagrams, load lists, I/O lists, network architectures, panel design and schematics). Design the complete detailed process control documents (Control Philosophy, Control Logic & Sequence Charts) for plant operation, for assigned projects.
• Perform FATs, CVTs and Commissioning support as required.
• Engage in the development of automation deliverables including test plans, programs, and network design.
• Manage budget, scope, schedule and proactively report risks and opportunities to project teams.
