Job summary

Veolia Water Technology seeks an EI&C Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team and drive instrumentation, electrical, controls, and programming design for water treatment facilities. You will support production, participate in factory acceptance tests, and assist during commissioning while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor in Engineering, a valid passport, and a willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including coordinating, reporting, documentation, and presentations).
• Strong focus on customer relationships (external/internal). Understands balance between customer and Veolia teams.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and comment on engineering documents, including P&IDs, GAs, process design guidelines, return of experience, and engineering best practices guides.
• Perform required calculations and select the appropriate instrumentation for water treatment facilities as well as all supporting documentation (instrument lists, termination drawings, instrument datasheets, etc.).
• Design the complete detailed electrical design for water treatment facilities (single line diagrams, load lists, I/O lists, network architectures, panel design and schematics). Design the complete detailed process control documents (Control Philosophy, Control Logic & Sequence Charts) for plant operation, for assigned projects.
• Perform FAT’s, CVT’s and Commissioning support as required.
• Engage in the development of automation deliverables including test plans, programs, and network design.
• Manage budget, scope, schedule and proactively report risks and opportunities to project teams.
