Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to support our clinical team in diagnosing cardiac/vascular conditions. This entry-level role welcomes recent graduates from an echocardiography program, with opportunities to advance within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The position is part-time (30 hours weekly) with 10-hour shifts and on-call duties at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for exams, educate patient and family on procedure, transport patient.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Document exam results and coordinate care with physicians and team.
• Maintain equipment, work area, and supplies; follow repair/supply channels.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
• Participate in educational opportunities and quality improvement initiatives.
