Ideal candidates may have 2+ years in the commercial door service field or be entry level with a strong mechanical aptitude. The role emphasizes problem-solving, precise measurements, and excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in commercial door service is a plus.
• Knowledge of door types, brands and hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair a variety of commercial doors.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues including springs, hinges, locks and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware and access control systems.
• Ensure safety and building code compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service and document visits.
• Troubleshoot issues and offer cost-effective solutions.
• Perform quality checks on installations and repairs.
