Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and suppliers.

Part time or full time; fleet safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include assisting DIY customers in-store and by phone, meeting sales goals, performing battery installations and other DIY services, and

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• English speaking; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and calls.
• Hit personal sales goals and help store achieve its targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery tests, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store product and operational standards, inventory processes.
